Are you ready to make a difference in the world of healthcare? At Carle Health, we’re looking for a dedicated Sonographer to perform general, OB, and some vascular ultrasounds, with the potential to also conduct breast ultrasounds. Join our supportive team and help us provide exceptional care to our patients!
Your Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex sonography imaging, ensuring adherence to guidelines and department protocols.
- Select optimal sonography protocols and techniques to gather the best data.
- Collaborate with radiologists to review cases and ensure accuracy.
- Critique imaging quality and maintain high standards in positioning and technical factors.
- Transfer and verify image data in PACS and other digital systems.
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure a safe, organized work environment.
- Assist in training new staff and students, sharing your expertise.
- Stay current with obstetrical ultrasound practices and research.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross-training in other modalities.
What We’re Looking For
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
