Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (Los Angeles)

Mike Cox of Robert Half is currently recruiting a newly created Director, Financial Planning and Analysis position for a Private Equity backed, Global company in Los Angeles.

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this role will play a pivotal role within the company and take a very hands-on role in the finance department.

The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis will support the CFO and other Executive leadership to continue to build out best-in-class financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and analysis, which will guide decision-making and continue to add value to the strategic growth of the company.

Your background?

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive FP&A or financial reporting experience, with direct exposure to Sales and COGS.
• Experience supporting international operations or analyzing global sales / COGS performance is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with financial modeling, budgeting tools, and BI / reporting platforms
• Experience in a private equity-backed environment highly desirable.
