Job Title : Project Manager – Water / Wastewater Location : Gulf Coast, FL Duration : Direct Hire Pay Range : $105k - $140k Relocation : None Work Schedule : 40 hours a week typically. Mon-Fri, Hybrid Target start date / availability : Interview and start ASAP Key Responsibilities : Serve as the primary point of contact for major municipal clients. Engage in marketing activities for both existing and potential clients, and participate in proposal preparation. Develop and manage project budgets using Project Management System. Effectively lead multidisciplinary project teams. Take the lead in planning, evaluating, and selecting preferred project alternatives. Conduct conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses. Produce comprehensive engineering reports and accompanying documentation. Generate construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Provide construction support services, including attending meetings and site visits as required. Ensure adherence to standard engineering practices and the inclusion of appropriate documentation in various reports and design projects. Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with other engineering disciplines. Interpret specifications and drawings, recommend and document design modifications, and coordinate with the design team. Address inquiries, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner. Qualifications : Hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's degree is preferred). Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in municipal and industrial engineering markets, with progressively increasing responsibilities. Maintain registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Have experience in delivering technical and business presentations or a willingness to undergo training. Showcase the ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and oversee projects and pursuits of various sizes with complex features. Collaborate directly with the Regional Manager and local staff to cultivate and manage client relationships, as well as serve as the Project Manager for a variety of municipal projects. Demonstrate a track record of successfully securing and executing profitable assignments for clients. Possess the capability to properly scope out new business opportunities or a willingness to undergo training. Exhibit an understanding of industry trends, strategic planning processes, and the ability to translate them into effective tactics. Be capable of motivating and leading teams in implementing project plans and client pursuits. Oversee the preparation of key proposals and deliverables. Be able to mentor and train junior engineers and staff in their career development.
