Project Support Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Project Coordinator for our client in La Mirada, CA. (19 miles southeast of Los Angeles) . This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and stable manufacturing organization. Candidates will have access to all facets of manufacturing and engineering environment. In this role the candidate will work collectively with team members to support the Project Management Team. The ideal candidate understands project execution from end to end, can collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers, and is skilled at connecting the dots to drive successful outcomes. An experienced Project Coordinator to act as the key delivery partner to the Project Manager, Business Leader and Stakeholders.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities / what does a typical day :

Seeking a candidate with experience in healthcare project delivery or commercial project management. A background in low voltage systems is required, with a strong preference for healthcare experience. The ideal candidate understands project execution from end to end, can collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers, and is skilled at connecting the dots to drive successful outcomes.

The role supports approximately 20 active projects at any given time. The individual can expect to receive 20–30 emails daily, with each message typically tied to a specific task. These tasks may include coordinating material deliveries, obtaining architectural plans, confirming job-related meetings, and scheduling with subcontractors. Responsibilities also involve close collaboration with internal operations to track material arrivals and communicating with senior project managers to align schedules and priorities. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to manage the volume and complexity of daily tasks effectively.

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years project coordination experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools.
• Ability to edit PDFs and work in Bluebeam .
• Comfortable scheduling meetings in Outlook.
• Capable of reading and interpreting plans and blueprints.
• Able to manage projects from planning through delivery, interfacing with customers and coordinating internal team support.
