Director, Business Information Services - Sales & Marketing is responsible for shaping the technical strategy, defining system architecture, and overseeing the implementation of commercial platforms that enable the Dermatology Business Unit’s field sales, medical teams, and marketing functions. This highly technical leadership role delivers scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions across CRM, BI, data platforms, and other critical commercial systems. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities and a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop the technical roadmap and system architecture for commercial platforms, including CRM (Veeva / Salesforce), BI (Power BI), data integration pipelines, and master data management.
• Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle : requirements gathering, UI / UX design, architecture review, development oversight, QA / testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design and oversee scalable system integrations, including APIs, data pipelines, and ETL processes across internal systems and third-party data sources (e.g., IQVIA, claims, SP data).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications and prioritized development plans.
• Guide solution design in partnership with system architects and data engineers to ensure performance, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage a team of developers, business analysts, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of technology initiatives.
• Ensure ongoing data integrity, availability, and adherence to key pharmaceutical regulatory standards—such as HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, and PDMA—to safeguard compliance and operational excellence.
• Proactively monitor production systems, address issues, and implement system optimizations.
• Lead change management, end-user training, and system adoption strategies across the organization.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that drive innovation, automation, and business value.
