As a Security Professional - Government Unarmed Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling government locations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the assigned area, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for utilizing a company vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel or authorities.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed.

Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while performing patrol duties.

Assist visitors and employees with questions or directions as appropriate.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
