job_description.job_card.job_descriptionsetting up machine to standard set-up time and procedure achieving standard production target and waste target as well as weighing / recording waste troubleshooting machine when it is down or not performing to standard Assists maintenance with machine repairs and preventive maintenance if qualified Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the machine is consistent with the policies and procedures which make up the Quality System Ensures all environmental standards are requirements are met Ensure quality of finished product and divert nonconformance product to appropriate area (i.e. Doc, Hold, Junk) Ensure completed product is packaged according to customer requirements Work as a team with Operator to ensure efficiency and smooth operation of machine Complete all in process paperwork (i.e. Hardness / Static charts, doc tickets). This job is in a manufacturing environment working on and around heavy machinery with high-speed rotating parts; continuous strobe lights may be present Must have the ability to operate industrial power vehicles This position may have exposure to hazards such as dust, high noise levels, solvent fumes and medium heat While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear Vision requirements include the ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less and free of colorblindness Frequent sitting, bending, and stooping Ability to individually lift up to 50 pounds Expressing or exchanging ideas verbally and in writing Routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, labeler Overtime will be required as assigned Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives and retirement savings plans with company match Customizable group benefits including health, dental, life, disability, and travel insurance Paid time off Employee perks such as discounts on insurance, wireless plans, travel, and more Career development opportunities A dynamic, inclusive work environment where your voice matters and your growth is supported
