Responsibilities Work in a Level IV Neonatal ICU with a focus on infants requiring complex care Float to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, medical-surgical, and occasionally ED units, as well as different campuses as needed Will float to a BPD NICU with patients having an average stay of 2-3 years, involving frequent trach care and significant family involvement Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 19 : 00 Floating to Riverside, St. Ann's, Grant Medical, Dublin Methodist, and Doctors Hospital campuses is possible Care for critically ill neonates and infants, manage complex respiratory equipment, and provide trach care Engage frequently with parents and families as part of patient care Be prepared for cross-unit collaborative work and adjust to different team structures depending on float assignment Interview process consists of two steps including an interview with the Float Pool Leader and possible follow-up with the NICU unit manager Late arrivals over three minutes are considered late under the facility’s policy Requirements Active OH or compact RN license in hand Current BLS and NRP certifications required Minimum 1 year of Level IV NICU experience and 2 years total Level III / IV NICU experience Must provide two professional references, with at least one from a manager or supervisor Cannot have been employed permanently at the facility within the last 2 years No local candidates within a 60-mile radius are eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614222.
