Lead Thermal Process Engineer role at GE Aerospace
The Lead Thermal Process Engineer is a key member of the technical team that helps current and future programs achieve program milestones and meet assigned objectives. In this role, you will work both independently and with various teams to develop, mature, and implement thermal processes that support manufacturing of Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC) components for aircraft engines and other aerospace applications.
Job Description
The Lead Thermal Process Engineer applies their technical knowledge to support product development and process readiness across our application portfolio. This role works both independently and with adjacent teams to develop, implement, and improve thermal processes – both conventional and novel – that support manufacturing of CMC components for aircraft engines and other aerospace applications. This position collaborates closely with materials, design, and supply chain teams to meet business and customer objectives.
