About Us

FPS Technologies is the largest locally owned & operated full-service fire protection company in Oklahoma with branches in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. To date, FPS Technologies employs 48 employees over 2 locations and has a service fleet of 28 vehicles. We offer fire extinguisher inspections and service as well as new sales of extinguishers; kitchen hood inspections and installation; alarm system service, installation and monitoring; sprinkler system installation, maintenance and repair as well as new construction of Sprinkler and Alarm systems.

Role Responsibilities

  • Installation of commercial fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 13 & other applicable AHJ requirements
  • Coordination with coworkers, trade partners, and general contractors
  • Communication of project progress with Project Managers & Superintendents
  • Development of apprentices working under your supervision
  • Operate in a professional manner and maintain positive relationships with others
  • Participate in safety meetings and complete JHAs
  • Maintain & protect company-owned vehicle, tools, and materials
  • Be deliberate with your actions

Job Requirements

  • Applicant must have current Fire Sprinkler - Technician License issued through the Oklahoma Dept. of Labor
  • Ability to read & draw conclusions from plans
  • Ability to physically lift 50 pounds independently and safely operate power tools
  • Working in outdoor conditions
  • Working from heights (ladders, lifts)
  • Capable of handling constructive criticism
  • Use of integrity and proper judgement
