As a staff turbopump engineer you will be a key member of a small and talented team working toward refining our turbomachinery technology across multiple engine platforms. You will own portions of the turbopump technology and provide an active voice in engine test and development. You will report to the Manager of Turbomachinery Engineering.
Responsibilities :
You will support conceptual design and development of new Turbomachinery as the subject matter expert in one or more key areas. You will perform the necessary design trades, preliminary design work and analysis to support this.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
Desired Skills and Experience :
Experience with structural and thermal analysis using Ansys FEA software
Proficient major industry CFD software (CFX, Fluent
etc
Experience in liquid rocket
engine,
design,
test
or
analysis
Work Environment :
Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $140,000 - $170,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we are evaluating individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
