The RoleWe currently have an opening for a Gas Applications Engineer. This is a customer facing role that requires self-motivated individuals with consultative and communication skills to implement ApenTech's OSI solutions. The position is focused on designing, installing, and configuring advanced oil & gas applications for SCADA control systems in upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. In this position you will oversee technical aspects of Professional Services for AspenTech's oil & gas utility products in coordination with other ApenTech's Engineering staff and customers. Specific on-the-job training will be provided. Your Impact

• Develop and execute system build plans accounting for software architecture, information security, and hardware deployment.
• Work closely with customers to understand their operational needs, provide system training, and configuration to meet their needs.
• Own the technical Professional Services aspects, including implementation of the overall proposed system design, of AspenTech's products for real-time critical infrastructure control systems.
• Perform system and acceptance testing with the end customers.
• Work closely with product development and product management teams to enhance AspenTech's products into the future.
• Travel to customer sites and work directly with customers to successfully deliver, test, and integrate systems.
• Represent AspenTech in a superior manner with an excellent attitude.
• Manage assigned projects with care, concern, and diligence.
• Be decisive and innovative when resolving issues.

What You'll Need

#LI-DW1 The salary range for this role is $61,100.00 - $76,400.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
