Overview

Moris Media is hiring a Legal Advisor in Berlin . This role provides expert legal guidance and representation to celebrities in the entertainment industry, addressing a variety of legal matters that impact their careers. The Legal Advisor will advise clients on contracts, copyrights, trademarks, and licensing agreements, and will negotiate and draft contracts for film, television, endorsements, and performances while safeguarding intellectual property rights.

The advisor will handle legal concerns from media engagements, public appearances, and interviews, offering guidance on privacy and defamation to protect clients' reputations. The role includes representing celebrities in legal disputes, such as contract disputes and defamation cases, and collaborating with agents, managers, and publicists to ensure legal compliance and protection of clients' rights throughout their careers.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice to celebrities on contracts, copyrights, trademarks, and licensing agreements.
• Negotiate, draft, and review contracts related to film, television, endorsements, and performances, with favorable terms for clients.
• Safeguard clients' intellectual property rights by addressing copyright infringement and unauthorized use of likeness.
• Offer legal guidance on media engagements, public appearances, and interviews to mitigate legal risks and protect clients' reputations.
• Assist clients with privacy and defamation matters, preserving public image and addressing legal challenges.
• Represent clients in legal disputes, including contract disputes and defamation cases, advocating effectively for their interests.
• Collaborate with agents, managers, and publicists to ensure legal compliance and protection of clients' rights during career engagements.
• Conduct thorough legal research to stay updated on entertainment law, developments, and industry best practices.
• Draft and review legal notices, agreements, and MOUs to ensure clarity and legal compliance.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal documents, correspondence, and case files.
• Provide clients with clear explanations of complex legal concepts to enable informed decision-making.
• Monitor ongoing legal developments and industry trends, advising clients on potential impacts on their careers.
• Uphold high standards of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Foster strong professional relationships with clients through a trust-based approach to legal representation and support.
• Participate in professional development to enhance legal knowledge and skills relevant to the entertainment industry.
