POSITION TITLE : Estimating Manager - Soft Craft Services

COMPENSATION : Competitive Salary + DOE

SUMMARY : The Soft Craft Estimating Manager will help develop estimating principles, oversight, and mentorship of the soft estimating team. This includes overseeing estimating templates, building a scalable team, oversight of all soft craft estimates, and supporting budgets.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop and implement standard estimating processes in the soft craft division
• Conduct detailed analysis of project blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to accurately estimate soft craft service cost
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather essential information for precise cost assessments
• Utilize industry-specific software and tools to prepare comprehensive and competitive estimates
• Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions
• Review and validate subcontractor quotes and proposals for soft craft services
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and discussions with clients to gather additional project insights
• Assist in the development of project budgets and provide ongoing cost support throughout project lifecycles
• Provide oversight and mentorship during the preparation of estimates and proposals for the soft craft estimating team
• Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to promote business growth and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with other departments and senior management to develop and execute business plans and strategies
• Leverage key performance metrics during the development of estimates and develop and implement improvement plans as needed
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
