Patient Care Assistant / Unit Secretary

Pay Rate : $21.45 per hour

Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care tasks to promote unit organization and smooth function under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager. Functions as a PCA and Unit Secretary.

Education / Training : High School Diploma or equivalent; Ability to read, write and communicate in English; Successful completion of Nurses Aide Program (or equivalent preparation)

Experience : Knowledge of medical terminology; prior experience is preferred as PCA / US

Licensure, Registration or Certification : Current Nurse Assistant certification preferred. Must complete Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training on a bi-annual basis
