Administrative Assistant - Transportation Department

The Town of Snowmass Village is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to join our Transportation Department! $1,000 sign-on bonus available! This is an in-person position.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant that will perform routine and specialized work including, but not limited to, data input; clerical support; data processing; parking permit sales; and administrative assistant support functions serving as executive administrative assistant, receptionist, and clerk, for the Transportation Department.

Some of the day-to-day duties are listed below :

• Performs as the executive administrative assistant, receptionist and parking permit seller.
• Distributes all mail and phone messages.
• Performs data input, general filing and word processing.
• Updates social media platforms as needed / required
• Takes minutes at staff meetings and transcribes correspondence from dictation.
• Sells parking permits and bus passes, processes citations.
• Balances cash transactions and provides receipt.
• Processes bulk mailings.
• Processes invoices for payment / reimbursement and inputs purchase orders into finance accounting system.
• Prepares reports in Microsoft Word or Excel and Access programs; acts as record management clerk in sorting, indexing distributing, and retrieving files.
• Maintains records in accordance with Record Retention Policy.
