A law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney for a full-time, on-site position in Columbus, OH . The attorney will manage a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and spousal support matters, while providing legal advice and managing case developments.

Duties

  • Handle divorce, dissolution, child custody, and spousal support cases.
  • Prepare and file legal documents and motions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Conduct discovery and manage case developments.
  • Provide legal advice to clients.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of family law.
  • Experience in preparing and filing motions.
  • Exceptional legal research and drafting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

    • Certifications

  • Active member in good standing with the Ohio Supreme Court.

    • Skills

  • Experience in family law practice is preferred.
