Minimum qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
• 12 years of experience in the design, construction, or commissioning of electrical systems for facilities.
• 10 years of experience with power distribution, protection schemes, and control systems.
• 10 years of experience with electrical codes, safety regulations, and project management principles.

Our Data Center Engineering team focuses on the physical design of data centers. You will work with a team to address topics like power use and operating environmentally friendly facilities. You will generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives, and drive implementation with facilities technicians. You will ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements, and serve as an expert in cooling, electrical, or related specialties.

In this role, you will focus on power, protection, and control systems, collaborating with external partners to ensure electrical designs are safe, reliable, and meet project requirements. The AI and Infrastructure team works on high-impact problems at scale, delivering AI and Infrastructure solutions globally and supporting Google services.

We shape the future of hyperscale computing by inventing and creating world-leading technology, contributing to Google infrastructure, and building platforms used by developers. We operate at a global scale with cross-functional teams to keep data centers running efficiently and drive innovation.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$302,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
