RP Constructors LLC. began operations in 2015 and has experienced rapid growth each year since. Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for an industrial pipe fitter to assist our industrial department in installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems, metal equipment and structures. The duties and responsibilities are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project.

Responsibilities / Duties :

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work : locations, quantities, and material specs.
• Apply knowledge of system operation to select the most suitable fitting and material.
• Prepare, cut, fabricate, layout, fit, position, and assemble piping components together in various positions.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack parts to secure in position for welding.
• Install hangers, supports, valves and components according to piping system plans and specifications.
• Inspect systems / structures to ensure no obstructions or leaks are present, repair or modify the design if necessary.
• Proper identification and use of tools required for tasks. (grinders, drills, threading machine, etc.)
• Operate forklifts & telehandler.
• Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
