Position Overview :
This position will support our Production Department by fabricating components, tubing, and sheet metal used in the manufacture of specialty gas delivery systems. In addition to being able to read and understand drawings and job travelers, the applicant must also have experience with measuring and basic math, mechanical assembly, power tools, hand tools, and have good manual dexterity.
Responsibilities Include :
- Read project drawings, work orders, and procedures
- Layout, drill, tap, or punch holes in sheet metal enclosure units
- Cut stainless steel tubing to length using an automatic saw
- Face stainless steel tubing to length using a tube facing tool
- Position, align, and adjust components for proper fit & function
- Complete production paperwork and recordkeeping
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area
- Follow company policy and production safety procedures
