Title : Compensation Specialist Location : Nashville, TN Duration : 9+ Months Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Compensation Specialist to join our HR team on a short-term assignment. This role will play a key part in implementing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of compensation strategies, policies, and programs.
- Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analyses using salary surveys and internal data.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers.
- Lead annual compensation processes including merit increases, bonus planning, and salary structure reviews.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to compensation.
- Prepare and present compensation reports and insights to HR leadership and business stakeholders.
- Participate in compensation-related projects such as job architecture, pay equity analysis, and incentive plan design. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field; CCP certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in compensation or total rewards.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with compensation tools and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
