Boone Tractor is a growing Ag Dealership in southwest Virginia and West Virginia. We are looking to add an experienced Small Engine Mechanic / Technician to our Salem, VA team.

This position has incentives for development, promotion and great earnings potential as well as reduced benefit premiums through our Technician Development Plan. This plan offers potential for pay rates up to $22.00 per hour.

Requirements :

A strong candidate for this position must have the ability to :

• Understand and follow instructions in English and read service manuals
• Efficient using a computer / tablet
• Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Diesel experience helpful
• Small engine experience
• High school diploma / trade school
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand and walk
• Ability to hear and communicate verbally to and with others
• Comfortable working in an open shop area with loud noises at times
• Team player
• Available during open hours of the store which would include 8 to 12 : 00 on Saturdays during the busy Spring and Summer season
• Valid Driver's License (must be insurable by our insurance company)
