Production Manager

Kreider Farms is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production and Processing Manager to join our food manufacturing team. As our Processing Manager, you'll lead daily operations within our egg processing plant, ensuring compliance with food safety standards while maximizing productivity and team performance. From managing production schedules to overseeing sanitation and inventory, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead egg processing operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Develop and manage daily / weekly production schedules.
• Supervise and support plant staff : scheduling, training, and evaluations.
• Monitor labor and supply costs to stay within budget.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, and other food safety programs.
• Serve as the SQF Practitioner and oversee the Food Safety & Quality Program.
• Maintain high sanitation standards in collaboration with the sanitation team.
• Coordinate with maintenance for timely equipment upkeep.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Fulfill and manage egg orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Generate reports related to production, inventory, and compliance.
• Partner with QA, logistics, and supply chain teams for seamless operations.
• Promote a culture of safety and teamwork.
