Overview and Impact

We are looking for a third shift Field Logistics Administrator for our Mt Hope Quarry in Wharton, NJ. This employee operates an industrial truck scale to weigh inbound and outbound vehicles. They are responsible for recording information such as truck type, gross vehicle weights, customer, and product information for billing purposes. They must have the ability to communicate well, exhibit strong problem-solving and customer service skills, work safely, and demonstrate leadership qualities. Must have the ability to work at all Tilcon NY locations where and when needed. You will train on the day shift for 1-2 months and then move to the overnight shift : 5pm-5am.

Core Responsibilities

Scale Operations

• Operate the scale system to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Issue tickets via Command platforms and ensure proper record of transactions.
• Verify that material, truck number and destination of material are accurate for Tilcon delivered orders and customer pick up.

This job will require both office work and field work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be exposed to hot weather, cold weather, wet weather, humid weather, dust, as well as noise. They will continuously work with others and will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to high heat. In the office, the noise level is usually quiet.
