Role focus

The MLT Lab Test Engineer will lead and support the development and execution of component, system-level, and powertrain testing within the Release and Validation organizations. This role is integral to ensuring the reliability, durability, and performance of vehicle systems and components through rigorous testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee component and vehicle system-level test setups to meet DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report) requirements.
• Support fixture design and fabrication for a variety of test scenarios (including powertrain component testing).
• Maintain active MLT projects.
• Collaborate with CAE, Release Engineering, and Test Engineering teams to ensure effective and timely execution of current and future validation programs.
• Lead SBU personnel, develop test plans and bogeys, and perform root cause analyses to resolve test-related issues and replicate field failures.
