Tax Advisor, National Tax, (Finance Transformation - Tax Technology and Transformation) (Senior) (Multiple Positions) (1637117), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Chicago, IL.

Provide business tax services and tax technology services to help client companies meet complex demands for tax reporting, compliance, and planning. Work with a team to help clients in building finance and tax functions that are business focused, cost effective, and agile to meet the needs of their stakeholders. Assist with various client projects including working with executive level stakeholders to understand their business objectives, developing innovative transformation solutions, and fostering client relationships. Maintain knowledge of key business and finance trends impacting tax functions.

Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental, and / or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.

Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, 8 : 30 am 5 : 30 pm.

Minimum requirements :

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field and 1 year of related work experience.

Must have 1 year of experience with a professional services firm, mid-sized / regional to large sized / national public accounting firm, or a global management consultancy firm.

Must have 1 year of experience in at least one of the following areas : Shared Services and Outsourcing programs; Program / project management for large-scale business transformation; or Process Improvement in a finance and tax settings.

Must have 1 year of experience conducting finance and tax function assessments.

Must have 1 year of experience with multidisciplinary projects that impact tax, including ERP implementations, tax co-sourcing engagements, and / or finance transformations.

Must have 1 year of experience with designing and implementing solutions to automate finance and tax process to improve or enhance user or customer experience.

Requires travel up to 10%, of which 0% may be international, in order to serve client needs.
