Certified Welding Inspector

Overview

Are you an experienced Certified Welding Inspector with a passion for quality and safety? We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. You will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and durability of our construction projects. You will be working closely with our team of construction professionals, contributing your expertise in structural and pipe welding to ensure the highest level of quality and safety in our work.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and evaluating welds on structural and piping components to ensure they meet the necessary quality and safety standards.
• Reviewing and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and procedures to ensure all welding activities are performed in accordance with the project requirements.
• Conducting visual and dimensional inspections of welds and applying appropriate testing methods such as non-destructive testing (NDT) to evaluate weld quality.
• Documenting inspection results, maintaining records, and preparing detailed reports of inspection findings.
• Collaborating with the construction team to address any identified issues or non-conformities and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
• Providing guidance and training to welders and other construction personnel on best practices for welding processes to ensure quality and compliance.
• Staying updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices for welding inspection.

Qualifications
