CNC Lathe Machinist

Summary

Join a clean, climate-controlled, family-owned precision CNC shop in Manchester, CT . We offer a 4-day workweek (Mon–Thu) , 3-day weekends , and strong benefits — with steady, high-precision work in a respectful environment.

If you’re an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Machinist who takes pride in accuracy and craftsmanship, we want to meet you.

What You'll Do :

  • Setup and operate Haas CNC lathes to produce precision parts from blueprints.
  • Read and interpret GD&T drawings; inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools.
  • Follow ISO9001 / AS9100D quality standards for documentation and inspection.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with the team to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain tooling, workholding, and machine cleanliness.

What You Bring :

  • 5+ years CNC lathe setup and operation experience (10+ is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of tooling, offsets, and G & M code editing.
  • Proficiency in GD&T interpretation and inspection equipment.
  • Background in precision machining under ISO / AS standards.
  • Haas and / or Fanuc control experience preferred.
