Key Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments

Conduct oral health assessments and screenings

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care

Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and practice

Ensure compliance with all infection control protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program

Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist

Proven experience working in a dental practice

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to educate and motivate patients to maintain optimal oral health

Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
