Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital CT department Weekend schedule : Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM, with 12-hour shifts Department equipped with Toshiba / Canon and Phillips scanners Two CT scanners on west campus, one on east campus; assigned to one campus and will not float Patient caseload includes heavy emergency cases (about 60% ED scans), extremities, head / neck, vascular, cardiac, TAVR, runoffs, and IR support Assist with fluoro in IR cases, including drain placements, liver / lung biopsies, cryoablation, and abscess drainage Average of approximately 80 scans per day between two technologists EMR is Cerner; PACS is Change Healthcare; Terarecon used for cardiac Scrubs of any professional color are acceptable; note that department may switch to specific color code in October One week of department-specific orientation is provided Primary duties include performing a wide range of CT imaging studies and supporting the interventional radiology team No floating between campuses is required Variable, block scheduling with potential for different start times each week; schedules remain consistent within each block Weekend work is required, while holiday coverage is not typically expected No call or standby required A radiology supervisor or lead tech is present on campus; radiologist is in-house 7 AM to 10 PM and on call after hours Radiation badge provided by employer Orientation includes one week of department-specific training and support Requirements Active ARRT and BLS certifications required Active state licensure required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required Experience starting IVs is required Experience with TAVR CT beneficial but not mandatory Must be comfortable with high-volume ED imaging and independent work Must submit copy of driver's license for consideration Two professional references required : one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623179.
