Security Officer- Unarmed Cultural Patrol

As a Security Officer- Unarmed Cultural Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a cultural institution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication to visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Support the cultural institutions operations by providing guidance and assistance to visitors as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
