The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME) is responsible for integrating manufacturing expertise into the New Product Development (NPD) process and developing new Bills of Process to ensure new products are designed for optimal manufacturability, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and quality. This role acts as a key technical liaison between product design, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams from early concept through production launch. This role will enable the Discrete Simulation with sequence of events for the process and Virtual Builds as well as Design Variation Analysis, Stack up Analysis, and Design for Manufacturability. This person will be located in Anderson, SC.
The AME drives the enterprise-wide standardization of the Bill of Process (BoP), establishing a unified framework, data structure, and taxonomy for all manufacturing process documentation. This includes creating robust templates and data governance policies to serve as the "single source of truth" for how products are built. The role also supports early prototype builds, defines manufacturing readiness requirements, and ensures a smooth transition into full-scale production.
