Job Description

Overview : Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on machinery used in process lines. Responsibilities include routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of components such as shafts, bearings, and gears to reduce production downtime. The role also covers minor HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs as required and involves training and mentoring colleagues in safe work practices.

Key responsibilities :

  • Support maintenance tasks during installation of new equipment.
  • Monitor mechanical performance, diagnose issues, and communicate findings to identify corrective actions.
  • Execute and verify repairs or adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Comply with the quality management system and related procedures; prepare product and assembly documentation as needed.

Qualifications and experience :

  • High school diploma or GED with about 3 years of technical maintenance experience, including work with automation and PLC controls in industrial environments.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions and priorities.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with shop equipment such as cranes, hoists, saws, power tools, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
  • Capability to pass MIG and stick welding assessments.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs and adjustments, and experience with AC and DC systems up to 600V.
