The Wellesley Public Schools currently have openings for Day-to-Day Substitute coverage in regular education, special education, teaching assistant and paraprofessional positions. Also, content areas of Music; Art; Physical Education, Library and Foreign Language. Candidates who have completed their Junior or Senior year of a Bachelor's program are welcome to apply.

The beginning per diem rate for substitute teachers is $140.68 / full-day and $84.41 / early release half-day. Please see scale below :

Step 1 $140.68 (days worked 0 - 75 days of service)

Step 2 $156.91 (days worked 76- 150 days of service)

Step 3 $162.32 (days worked 151-200 days of service)

Step 4 $178.55 (Over 201 days of service)
