Production Manager
A top-tier, employee owned, family first organization is looking for an experienced Production Manager. The Production Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities include :
- Supervise the timely completion of all projects, create and implement process improvements, and coordinate projects in a manner that maximizes efficiency and profitability.
- Achieve manufacturing results by communicating job expectations to hourly and salary employees. Plans, monitors, and appraises production results.
- Work with all employees using coaching, counseling, discipline, and mediation skills.
- Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process using process monitors; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources reporting on daily results, and making corrections to achieve targets.
- Assign personnel to accomplish work results; establish priorities; monitor progress; resolve problems; evaluate employees, and conduct orientation and training of personnel.
- Ensure the safety of all employees and ensure they know and acknowledge all safety rules, policies, and necessary PPE for each position.
- Accountable for compliance with established quality policies and procedures.
- Responsible for communication on all equipment and machines. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel.
Qualifications include :
Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Business, or related field.Experience in the hydraulics industry strongly preferred.Successful track record of leading teams and executing business initiatives.Ability to develop relationships, and foster a team environment.Benefits include :
