Unarmed Security Officer - Financial Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in Shirley, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a financial institution location, where you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding to situations as they arise. You will also have the opportunity to build positive relationships through exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and / or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in and around the location.
  • Collaborate with onsite personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate relevant information and address concerns as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
