Summary :

Responsible for hitting required number cycles per shift. Responsible for producing quality product. Team lifting and working with a partner on 430 is required.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Strictly follow safety policies, procedures, rules and safe work methods, along with making safety suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety
• Inspect machines according to check-list provided
• Reach / maintain all cycle goals as set up on the machine
• Use of elevated platform to perform work (on 430 machine), stair platform (on 250).
• Ensure pre-measured accurate powder is being used for correct mold
• Demold product
• Keep your area clean, in and around your machine
• Keep all parting lines clean; replace bad j-hooks on molds right away
• Any available time between cycles or while machine is processing / cooling will be spent assisting employees in other areas, starting with your area first
• Inspect molds for any repairs needed each shift
• Check finished parts, empty parts containers and shut-down operation whenever deficiencies in quality or machine operation are noted
• Ensure all parts meet specifications
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Working cooperatively with others to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
• Contribute to continuous improvement culture
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Detail oriented and an effective time manager

Individual shall possess average written and oral communication skills

Experience as a plastic machine operator

Able to maintain quality and necessary quantities

Required to wear harness on platform on the 430

Complete work orders accurately

Forklift certification

Clear, effective communication
