job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssemble and install equipment such as : service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items Read work instructions and installation directions Gather materials and properly assemble equipment Test performance before delivering units to a final audit Perform a variety of complicated tasks including (but not limited to) : Able to read and interpret : Hydraulic diagrams Electrical diagrams High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds Basic mechanical aptitude Hydraulics experience is required Automotive accessory electrical knowledge required Trade specific secondary education preferred ASE truck equipment related certification in E1, E2 & E3 is preferred but not required. AWS Welding certification is preferred but not required

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Miami, FL is looking to hire a full-time Installer to assemble, install, and customize a variety of heavy-duty work truck bodies. This position works Monday - Friday from 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM.
