Director of Esports

A company is looking for a Department Chair and Director of Esports.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee operations of esports-related programs, including faculty management and curriculum quality

Provide strategic leadership for the university's esports initiatives and manage co-curricular activities

Engage with external stakeholders and prepare program reviews for esports-related programs

Required Qualifications

Terminal degree or master's degree with significant professional experience in esports or a related field

Five or more years of leadership experience required; 3-5 years in esports or athletic administration preferred

Expertise in esports, including competitive structures and student development

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with streaming platforms preferred

Experience in hiring, developing, and evaluating faculty and staff
