Initial placement within the salary range is based on knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is just one component of our Total Rewards package, which includes wellness programs to support our team members\' financial, physical, and mental well-being. General Accountabilities
- Provides protection for the casino, all employees, guests, and company assets.
- Guards all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor and the physical transportation of fills and credits.
- Responsible for adherence to health, fire, and safety regulations; identifies potential safety hazards and reports them to the appropriate personnel.
- Supports and maintains Margaritaville Resort Casino courtesy guidelines and promotes outstanding guest service.
- Assists with disturbances and intoxicated guests as needed.
- Always promote safety and confidentiality.
- Performs duties to comply with Margaritaville's mandated requirements, including gaming-related drops, card and dice reconciliation, inspection, cancellation, and destruction, re-issuance of poker cards, and transport of locked chip carriers and documents to and from the Chip Bank.
- Through alertness and proactive attention to potential danger and security risks, protect guests, property, and staff from harm or loss.
- Patrols buildings and grounds as directed; stand watch at assigned security posts to oversee guest safety and security.
- Greet all guests and staff in a positive, friendly, and professional manner.
Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED; or six months to one year of work experience in customer service; previous security and corrections experience a plus.Must be able to obtain a LA Gaming License and L.A.C.T.Ability to stand, bend, lift, walk, and stay for the duration of the shift.Excel both independently and as part of a team.Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.Ability to work at a fast pace in a crowded / noisy environment.STARTING SALARY : 13 to 15 hr
