A Sales Manager is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction engaging the sales team to achieve company objectives.
Work Tasks
A sales manager can be expected to perform the following tasks in this role as a routine part of the job :
Works 1-on-1 with team members to ensure all are trained and coached on current sales practices, monitors their sales performance and co-leads meetings as needed to model effective sales presentations and customer interactions.
Collaborates with all sales team members to achieve company strategic goals.
Monitors team results and adjusts strategies as needed for maximum results.
