The Sales Manager will maintain and expand relationships with assigned retail partners - representing a variety of product categories while collaborating with our product teams. Directly responsible for identifying opportunities with retailer partners while actively prospecting new business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain, grow and develop assigned key accounts.
- Pioneer and create new opportunities with strategic accounts; initiate and cultivate relationships, identify white space opportunities and generate sales.
- Become educated in all products the company has to offer.
- Be an avid follower of market trends, price points & sales conditions.
- Provide creative input to the product development teams combining feedback from the retail partners.
- Actively participate in scheduled internal weekly and annual sales meetings, preparing in advance to share relevant, beneficial information, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidate would :
Have strong relationships at accounts in national retail accounts.Be located within DFW area and be willing to work from our office the majority of the time.Have 3-5 years of direct sales experience - optimally in a vast range of categories catering to major retailers.Bring a strategic approach to the business creating profitable, trend right, consumer specific sales programs.Possess the ability to survey the market - then identify customer needs and transition them into actionable sales opportunities.Exhibit strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.Be able to work independently as well as within a team environment.Have impeccable presentation skills and have the ability to sell to all levels of corporate retail.
