Our company is seeking a dynamic and Senior Cost Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting complex cost analyses, implementing cost standards for materials and labor, preparing budget reports and implementing cost-effective solutions for our production processes.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

• Developing and implementing cost standards for materials and labor.
• Designing and implementing cost accounting systems.
• Analyzing production costs and recommending changes.
• Overseeing annual physical inventory.
• Evaluating operational costs and conducting comparative analyses.
• Reviewing rates of depreciation, labor and overhead and suggesting policy changes to improve numbers.
• Establishing inventory standard costing and managing cycle count reporting.
• Working closely with the production team to understand and manage raw material and labor costs.
• Conducting ongoing process constraint analyses.
• Reporting on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances.
• Analyzing capital budgeting requests.
• Preparing detailed reports, both periodically and as needed.
• Conducting audits on financial statements and reports to ensure all calculations and data entries are correct.
