Structural Steel Estimator

Overview

BHI is searching for a Structural Steel Estimator who is well-rounded with knowledge of structural & miscellaneous steel fabrication. This estimator will manage projects from takeoff to proposal submission. They will assist with bid reviews, project buy-outs, and help set the groundwork for the operations team to execute according to the estimate. The right candidate will be able to manage their own time because they are self-motivated and self-directed. They must take ownership of the estimating process, but no bid will be submitted without formal review by estimating and operational management.

If you have what we\'re looking for, your salary is negotiable between $80,000 and $115,00 (depending on experience). Qualifications for Our Structural Steel Estimator

• Proven experience estimating in fabrication settings
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work products
• Ability to analyze blueprints and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates

A degree in construction management and extensive estimating experience is preferred, but multiple factors will be considered.
