JOB SUMMARY :

The Controls Engineer (PLC Specialist) provides 2nd-level technical expertise in PLC controls-based troubleshooting and supports continuous improvement initiatives related to new production line installations. This role works under the direction of a Senior Controls Engineer to enhance manufacturing capabilities through innovative solutions and hands-on implementation across design, testing, and production phases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provide PLC controls troubleshooting and technical support for manufacturing equipment
• Participate in all phases of projects including design, fabrication, off-line integration, testing, and installation
• Support production start-up, personnel training, and technology transfer activities
• Apply structured programming for PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems
• Contribute to system design, programming, and integration of control systems
• Independently execute project assignments while collaborating in a team environment
• Recommend process improvements to enhance automation efficiency and reliability
