The law firm, Glass Law Group Inc., is hiring an Intake Coordinator!
Glass Law specializes in workers' compensation matters. This is a small boutique law firm that is very busy. Applicants interested in this position must be bilingual in Spanish and English and should be interested or have some experience working in a law firm. Individuals who have recently obtained their Paralegal Certificate or a Degree in Legal Studies are encouraged to apply. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for taking new client calls, filling out an intake, scheduling appointments with the attorneys, filing the correct paperwork to open a case in the Workers’ Comp. filing system and completing the other various tasks related to a new client intake.
This position performs basic clerical and data entry support to the staff as well as filing and other administrative duties. Motivated applicants who show the aptitude and attention to detail needed to be successful in this law firm may be trained on E-Filing, preparing legal correspondence, scheduling hearings or other interesting tasks.
Intake Coordinator / Legal Clerk responsibilities include the following :
- Bilingual in Spanish with the ability to fully converse in Spanish, take messages from Spanish-speaking clientele and assist with translating Spanish to English.
- Answering, screening, and processing paperwork for new clients.
- Utilizing computer system to enter information and open new client files.
- Be proficient in following instructions as forms must be completed properly so that they can be sent to the Court.
- Be proficient in typing and spelling such that nothing that gets filed with the court is incorrect.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
- Filing paperwork, moving and sorting often large paper files.
- Office service duties.

$20-$25 hourly DOE.
