Staff Pharmacist Evening Shift

Location : Foxborough, MA

Assignment Type : 13+ Week Contract-to-Hire

Start Date : Immediate Opening

Pharmacy Setting : Closed-Door | Long-Term Care

Daily Script Volume : Approx. 600 prescriptions

A respected long-term care pharmacy in Foxborough is hiring a Staff Pharmacist for its evening shift team. This role is well-suited for pharmacists who excel in a high-volume, fast-moving environment and enjoy collaborating with a dedicated technician team.

Core Responsibilities

Conduct initial order verification using Frameworks software (training provided if needed)

Perform final accuracy checks prior to medication dispensing

Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and compliance

Oversee the safe and timely dispensing of medications to LTC facilities

Schedule Options

Weekdays : 2 : 00 PM 10 : 00 PM

4 : 00 PM 12 : 00 AM

Weekends :

Saturday or Sunday : 9 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM

Rotating schedule (one weekend per month)

Candidate Requirements

Active, unrestricted Massachusetts Pharmacist License

Prior experience in pharmacy required (LTC, retail, hospital, or compounding)

Comfortable managing a high script volume

Ability to lead and support pharmacy technicians effectively

Open to both experienced pharmacists and new graduates
