Our Corporate office is based in Olathe, KS and we are looking for an Assistant Controller that has the desire to help the company grow.
Assistant Controller Job Summary :
The Assistant Controller supports the Corporate Controller with the Company’s financial management activities of the company. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, managing cost accounting, and supporting financial audits. The Assistant Controller will play a key role in process improvement, financial analysis, and system implementations.
Assistant Controller Skills / Abilities :

Assistant Controller Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, inventory, fixed assets, and payroll.Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.Assist with the development and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets.Help and assist with audits with external auditors.Provide variance analysis and explanations on financial performance.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Assist with implementing and maintaining ERP / accounting systems and reporting tools.Mentor and supervise accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to support financial decision-making.Assistant Controller Education and Experience
Assistant Controller Education :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is desired.Assistant Controller Experience :
5+ years of progressive accounting experience; including 1+ years of manufacturing or cost accounting.Experience with ERP systemsEOE / Minorities / Females / Veterans / Disabled.
