Human Resource Assistant

Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about supporting people? We're looking for a Human Resource and Payroll Assistant to join our client's HR and Payroll team. This role supports a dynamic workforce of 500+ employees across multiple facilities, ensuring accurate timekeeping, smooth payroll operations, and responsive HR support.

What You'll Do :

Review and validate daily timecards for multiple locations to ensure accurate payroll data.

Partner with team leads and supervisors to confirm time tracking and approvals.

Enter and update timecard data for absences, suspensions, and other leave types.

Identify and resolve timekeeping discrepancies with HR and Payroll teams.

Assist with payroll reporting for review and audit purposes.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, hours, leave policies, and timekeeping.

Maintain discretion when handling sensitive HR and employee relations matters.

Document and track personnel actions including attendance, leaves of absence, and return-to-work documentation.

Support HR programs, initiatives, and onboarding processes, including badge access and timecard setup.

What We're Looking For :

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

1+ years of payroll or HR administrative experience preferred.

Familiarity with payroll / timekeeping systems (ADP experience a plus).

Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
