Weekend 3rd Shift CNC Operator – Greenville, MI

Location : Greenville, MI

Industry : Skilled Manufacturing

Shift & Hours : Weekend 3rd Shift – Friday–Sunday, 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM (36 hours paid as 40)

Pay Rate : $18.00 – $20.00 / hour (includes $1 shift premium; based on experience)

Job Summary

We are hiring a CNC Operator for our Weekend 3rd Shift. In this role, you will run production to ensure high-quality parts and on-time delivery. This position works 36 hours per week but is paid for 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce aluminum components according to specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files

Set up machines and tools for production runs

Monitor the machining process for quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary

Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment

Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following company safety protocols

Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator, preferably in aluminum fabrication

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment

Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods

Experience with Haas machines and Mastercam
